Abby Hersom, MPH

Abby Hersom, MPH, is a senior manager at Acuvance Coker. She is a healthcare operations consultant specializing in ambulatory and physician enterprise performance improvement, with expertise in patient access, provider productivity and compensation benchmarking, Epic Cadence optimization, and large-scale project management.

Abby has led complex engagements across multiple workstreams, developing specialty-specific scheduling standards, redesigning patient access workflows, and evaluating staffing and operating models. Her analyses have identified multimillion-dollar cost-reduction and revenue-enhancement opportunities for large health systems. She also brings experience producing executive and board-level reporting, leading change management efforts, and partnering with clinical and operational leaders to advance strategic initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Abby worked in practice operations at Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, giving her a strong understanding of front-line operations and patient access.
