Debra McGrath, CRNP
Debra McGrath, a Manager with the Coker Group's Technology division, has been working in health care for 24 years. A Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist and experienced Nurse Practitioner, she spent much of her career in nursing before moving into management, and has dedicated years to health care-related academic pursuits.
As a manager with the Coker Group, Ms. McGrath primarily focuses on clinical information technology, federally qualified and community health centers, nurse practitioner practice, patient data collection, warehousing and reporting, handheld and wireless technologies.
Most recently she served as the Director of Primary Care Services at Eleventh Street Family Health Services of Drexel University and Information Technology Project Director for The Family Practice and Counseling Network where she is implementing and overseeing EPM/EMR deployment. She has also been an Assistant Professor of Nursing and an Associate Director of the Nursing Institute of Healthcare Informatics at Drexel University.
As a lifelong academic, Ms. McGrath has taught courses, given numerous presentations, and performed extensive research on nursing and health care issues and management.
Ms. McGrath obtained a B.S.N. from West Chester University and an M.S.N. in Perinatal Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Also, she received a post-masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner through Wilmington College. She is Board Certified in Family Practice through the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
Ms. McGrath is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Information Science and Technology at Drexel University.
