Yong Zhang, MAcc

Yong Zhang is a Senior Consultant in The Coker Group's financial services division.  Ms. Zhang, a native of Shanghai, China, joined Coker after working as an accountant for General Motors in China.

Ms. Zhang works with healthcare organizations of all sizes and in many different sectors within the healthcare industry.  Empowered by her strong financial foundation in the areas of US GAAP, financial investing and federal taxation, Ms. Zhang completes various projects including valuations and appraisals, mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, pro forma financial statement compilations and analyses, and other areas of financial and operational analyses.

Ms. Zhang holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from The University of Georgia.  She is working through the licensing process to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is currently preparing to achieve the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).  Ms. Zhang was selected by her peers to receive Coker's Employee Excellence Award for 2007.
