Christine Ingram
 
In over 20 years of working in health care, Christine Ingram has amassed expertise in all areas of practice management, using her skills and experience to assist Coker’s clients with operational and financial issues.  She serves at the Manager level in her consulting work.

 Since joining The Coker Group in 2006, Ms. Ingram has engaged in many assignments in a variety of settings.  Her work encompasses serving as Interim Executive Director of a hospital-owned employed physician network, located in the Midwest.  On assignment in the Northeast, she serves as project director to achieve a performance turnaround for a hospital’s employed physician network.  Other projects in the West and Southwest include numerous operational assessments and assistance with mergers.  Currently, she is an ex officio board member and provides ongoing management assistance for an organization in the Southeast.  Her work crosses all specialties including multispecialty, cardiology, pain management, and urology.

Prior to joining Coker, Ms. Ingram served as Practice Manager with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, overseeing all day-to-day operations of the Specialty Care department, actively seeking opportunities for additional revenue growth and expense reduction. Specifically, her responsibilities included assembling operational and capital budgets, managing financial resources and the revenue cycle, interviewing and hiring all staff, and handling key retention activities, including enhanced hiring, identification and action plans for retention risk factors, coaching and development, and team building and communications. All of these initiatives ensured that each site operated as cost effectively as possible without negatively affecting the quality standards of the practice and while achieving a high level of growth for the organization. 

Before that, Ms. Ingram was a Practice Management Consultant in the Atlanta area, providing services such as interim office management, policy/ procedure development, financial management, accounts receivable assessments and redesigns, staff training, strategic planning, and managed care contract reviews.

She also served as Practice Administrator of Atlanta Urological Institute/Urology Healthcare Group, where she was responsible for the group’s day to day operations and revenue enhancement development, as well as strategic planning and business development.  She also established new policies and procedures, improving communications, optimizing revenue, and reducing system errors throughout the four-provider group.  

Ms. Ingram’s roles include Practice Administrator of Atlanta Urological Institute/Urology Healthcare Group, Practice Manager of MedPartners HealthWays Family Medical Centers, Manager of Rainbow Children’s Medical Group (part of Egleston Children’s Health Care System), and Business Manager of Apex Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Ms. Ingram holds a MS in Healthcare Management from Troy State University, and a BS in Health Care Management from Clayton College and State University. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives.
