Brenda Mathews
In her 25 years working in health care, Brenda Mathews has amassed expertise in all areas of practice management, including personnel management, finance and operations, and marketing and development.
Specifically, she has specializes in development and enforcement of personnel policies and procedures, performance evaluation and salary review of management personnel, budget preparation, financial monitoring, operational audits, practice start-ups and expansions, marketing initiatives, and selection and implementation of capital equipment.
Most recently, Ms. Mathews was practice administrator of Cardiology of Georgia, where she is responsible for all areas of practice management for 100 staff members, including eighteen physicians. There she participates in business development and partnerships to enhance practice revenue, and directs all managers and supervisors, both clinical and clerical, representing the entire staff. Before that, she was Vice President of Practice Management for Allegiant Physician Services, where she managed profitability and operations of multiple sites, and was instrumental in a new practice management division start-up from concept to operation.
She also served as Director of Field Operations for ICCA/Pro-Med/Paragon Health Management, Administrator of Northlake Tucker Ambulatory Surgical Center, and Assistant Office Manager of Tallahassee Neurological Clinic.
Ms. Mathews holds a degree from Florida State University in Education, and she is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, the Georgia Medical Group Management Association, and the Cardiology Leaders Alliance. |
