Aimee Barrette

Aimee Barrette is a Staff Consultant at The Coker Group.  She works on a variety of consulting projects, including financial consulting, hospital accounts, practice management initiatives, as well as research and writing for various client projects. 
 
Prior to joining Coker, Ms. Barrette was an intern with Solvay Pharmaceuticals, where she conducted research and marketing initiatives in Solvay's commercial operations.  
 
Previously, Ms. Barrette worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where she conducted extensive research on healthcare related projects. 
 
Upon finishing college, Ms. Barrette was a teacher for the Teach for America program in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she taught children with varying disabilities. 

Ms. Barrette is an honors graduate of Michigan State University, where she attained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Biology.  She also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.  While at Emory, she was the president of the Rollins Healthcare Association, where she directed an executive board and a 102-member professional development organization, working with Junior Achievement of Georgia and spending numerous hours in service to Dekalb County and Atlanta Public Schools.
